“Higashiyama Kids Guide” is established in 2007 in JCI Nagoya.

In the summer of the year, 40 schoolchildren from 4th grade to 6th grade who love animals got gathered at Higashiyama zoo. They learned and practiced how to guide visitors in cooperation with the city’s administrative office, NPOs, and university students.

The project was successfully delightful not only for the visitors but also for all participants such as schoolchildren, cooperated university and the zoo staffs.

Now, this project is managed by an NPO “Higashiyama zoo club”.
